Philosophy

The ARTlab is an inspiring space for creating art, in the style of the 'Kunsthaus Tacheles' in Berlin (1990-2014). Artists from Berlin and around the world work and show their art in Kunstmanufaktur Blühende Landschaften Berlin (KBL). We believe that people should be able to experience the magic of art, art that is still affordable.

Artists work and interact here, believing that culture cannot be bought, it must be lived.

That's why you can find us here at practically any time of the day or night. As artists, we are your direct point of contact. There are regular internal events: Exhibitions, Fashion-Shows, Movies, Readings

 

STEFFEN MATT is the initiator of the gallery and takes care of all technical matters and manages the space, with full dedication and curiosity for new things. In addition, he also creates his own unique works of art. His major labels: EndeNeu & NoExit

TIM ROELOFFS is the good soul in the room. He has 'Tacheles Life' in his blood. Tim was once Berlin's first cultural ambassador, then co-founder of the 'Kulturbotschaft Berlin-Lichtenberg' (Culture and Art/2017-2021).

Nothing makes him restless. He creates Collage Images.
